Completed Tours

The first blog I read — Completed a 2-year tour through The Americas, finishing in Dec ’09.
The Warmshowers’ administrators trip from Alaska to Chile, 2006–2009. One of the most detailed sites around for those looking for information as it goes so much further than just a tripblog.
Two brothers who cycled from Deadhorse, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina between 2006 & 2008 to raise money for the American National Brain Tumor Society. They premiered a 2-hour film of the trip in San Jose, California, in September 2010. This site appealed to me because of the invaluable ‘Tips from the Road’ section, which so few sites offer.
They log their trip through Central America from Cancun, Mexico to Panama City. Very well written in both English & German, & of particular interest for those who are thinking about meandering from coast to coast through the region.
Still On The Road
The people I met most frequently on the route & travelled with through Baja, Mexico. On their way to Ushuaia, Argentina, having started in Inuvik, Canada.
Husband, John; wife, Nancy & 12-year old twins Daryl & Davy double-tandem their way from northern Alaska to southern Argentina. One of the most varied websites around. Used it for information on Baja California. They are currently in Argentina.
