On 20 June, 2010, I flew from Frankfurt to Anchorage, Alaska, to begin a cycle touring trip through The Americas. I then flew up to Deadhorse where I started my trip. The route took me:
- through Interior Alaska,
- the Yukon Territory in Canada,
- South-east Alaska,
- British Colombia in Canada,
- down the West Coast of the United States,
- through Baja California & the Mexican mainland.
From Mexico, I cycled through each of the Central American countries:
- Belize,
- Guatemala,
- Honduras,
- El Salvador,
- back to Honduras,
- Nicaragua,
- Costa Rica,
- finally across Panama to Panama City.
I shipped the bike back to the UK from there, & carried on by plane & bus to Colombia, flying back to Europe from Bogota.
